Faith Council

Everyone Home DC is proud to have the support of the diverse faith communities in the District of Columbia. Founded by several Capitol Hill churches in response to the turbulence of the 1960’s to collectively address the challenges faced by their congregants, Everyone Home DC retains close ties to the community that founded us and seeks to build relationships with congregations throughout the District through this Council. Read more about our history here.

The Faith Community Council of Everyone Home DC inspires and leads our faith community to use its collective power to support people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness through advocacy, volunteering, and financial and in-kind support. This council envisions a community where faith partners use their power to effectively highlight the moral imperative of ending homelessness.
