Who’s ready to brunch for the September Challenge? Mr. Henry’s is teaming up with Everyone Home DC for an incredible seventh year! And this year is extra special as our longtime Capitol Hill neighbor celebrates 60 years in the community.
Join us for a full weekend of brunch on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, from 10:30 AM–2:30 PM. Gather your friends, enjoy a great meal, and take on the Challenge simply by showing up: a portion of the weekend’s proceeds will support Everyone Home DC’s work to prevent and end homelessness in DC.
Dine-in and carry-out orders are eligible. See you at brunch!
Join Everyone Home DC Board Member Alison Harwood and Chuck Rohe on Sunday, September 27, from 4–7 PM for their annual Sunday Afternoon Soirée in support of the September Challenge! The Soirée brings friends and neighbors together for an afternoon of connection, community, and shared commitment to Everyone Home DC’s work to prevent and end homelessness.
Drinks and light hors d’oeuvres will be served, and all are welcome. A personal gift of any amount toward Alison and Chuck’s September Challenge fundraising goal is warmly welcomed Email Kate (akalonu@everyonehomedc.org) to RSVP and for location details.
Who’s ready for ice cream for the September Challenge? Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Barracks Row is teaming up with Everyone Home DC for a sweet way to close out the month!
Stop by Jeni’s Barracks Row (526 8th St NE) on Wednesday, September 30, from 4–7 PM, grab a scoop (or a few!), and 25% of purchases will support Everyone Home DC.
Bring your family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors and take on the Challenge simply by enjoying some ice cream together. Every purchase supports Everyone Home DC’s work to prevent and end homelessness in DC.

Everyone Home DC’s signature fall campaign is back! This September, we’re inviting our community to come together to raise $90,000 through fundraisers, sponsorships, our online auction, individual gifts, and community events.
There are so many ways to participate. Create your own fundraiser, become a Challenge Benefactor or Sponsor, bid in the online auction, join us at a community event, make a gift—or come up with a Challenge of your own!
However you choose to participate, you’ll be part of a community working to ensure all of our neighbors have a safe place to call home.
We believe that when everyone has access to a safe, affordable, and comfortable home, we can all thrive.
