Head to 7 Locks Brewery in Rockville, Maryland on Saturday, September 12 from 6-8pm for trivia night, hosted by SMRT and in support of Everyone Home DC’s September Challenge.
During this 2 hour trivia, $1 of every pint sold will be donated. The winning team will receive a $25 gift card to 7 Locks. Enjoy a pint, exciting trivia and some pizza from Giacomo’s Brick Oven! No reservations are required, suggested donation of $5 (or more!) at the door, Trivia will be held outside with a limited number of tables, all 10 feet apart, so come early to secure your spot! 6 people max per table. Learn more about the evening on 7 Locks’ event calendar.
If you are traveling a distance to support Everyone Home DC and want to ensure you have a table, please contact Chuck Rohe at carohe@me.com or Kate Akalonu at akalonu@everyonehomedc.org to discuss.
A little more information, for any who are wondering:
- Individual players and teams are welcome, but it’s always more fun with a team. Teams range from 2-6 people, but due to the size of the tables and the need for social distancing, we must ask that teams not exceed 6. If you come with a larger group, please plan to split into more than one team.
- Trivia questions cover a wide variety of topics, and every game is different. You may hear questions about history, science, movies, celebrities, literature, politics, music, sports, video games, or popular culture. Questions range from very simple to very hard, and the points awarded for correct answers correspond accordingly. Music questions require you to identify songs and artists after hearing short clips. SMRT attempts to include questions that are likely to be answerable by a wide range of age groups. Consider these facts when choosing your team members!
- No preparation is required, and the game is designed to be fun for everyone. For those who love to compete, plenty of the questions will be challenging, but everyone will know some of the answers. Try to improve your team’s performance by inviting someone who fills the gaps in your knowledge.
- Players should be sure to bring a mask, because they are required to be worn at various times under applicable Montgomery County rules.
Thank you in advance for your support! We cannot wait to share the evening with you.
