Monthly Giving = Lasting Support for People Facing Housing Insecurity
Dear Everyone Home DC Friend,
As a long-time resident of Capitol Hill and a proud member of Everyone Home DC’s Board of Directors, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the organization’s impact on our community up close. Living here, I’m frequently reminded of how critical it is to support our neighbors—and how powerful it can be when we come together to ensure everyone has a safe and stable place to call home.
Now, halfway through 2025, the District is facing an unprecedented year of challenges. Funding cuts to essential services—from housing to healthcare—are making it harder than ever for nonprofits like Everyone Home DC to plan for the future. And when organizations struggle, so do the people who rely on them.
At the same time, it’s been inspiring to see so many in our city—especially those who have dedicated their lives to public service—looking for meaningful ways to help.
One of the most effective ways to make a lasting difference is by becoming a monthly donor through Everyone Home DC’s GoodNeighbor Circle. Monthly gifts provide a reliable foundation for the organization to plan for the long haul, especially in times of uncertainty. And as a donor, you’ll know your support is making a real and sustained impact—month after month, neighbor to neighbor.
As a board member, I can assure you that joining the GoodNeighbor Circle is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to support Everyone Home DC’s homelessness prevention, housing, street outreach, drop-in day center, and supportive services. This monthly commitment provides consistent support where it’s needed most. If you share our vision of a city where everyone can obtain and remain in safe, affordable, and comfortable housing, I hope you’ll consider joining.
