Please come join the Cooney-Clarke family and Capitol Hill neighbors on Thursday, November 28th, at 9:30 a.m. for the 6th annual Capitol Hill 5k Turkey Trot fundraiser. The event will be followed by hot cider, mimosas, and light snacks in the alley behind 616 3rd Street NE. All are welcome.

Celebrate Giving Tuesday with Everyone Home DC & Solid State Books! Everyone Home DC and Solid State Books (600F H St NE, Washington, DC 20002) are celebrating Giving Tuesday together this year! Drop by on December 3rd between 11 am – 7 pm to learn about Everyone Home DC and check out our Recommended Reading List. A portion of the proceeds from sales from this list will go towards Everyone Home DC’s vital programs that provide resources for our unhoused neighbors. The Brent Annual Christmas Tree and Holiday Sale is now live! Due to limited trees this year, it is highly recommended that you preorder your tree, especially if looking for a larger size. SPREAD THE WORD! Everyone Home DC is proud to be included in World Bank Group’s Community Connections Campaign, which runs from November 1 to December 19, 2024.
All World Bank Group staff, retirees, and consultants can participate, and the World Bank Group matches all donations 100%. To remain eligible each year, Everyone Home DC needs to receive $1,000 in donations from 10 donors. Last year, Everyone Home DC raised more than $8,000 from 24 donors.
If you have friends in your network connected to the World Bank, please encourage them to share a little love with Everyone Home DC and/or invite us to speak at a Community Connections Campaign event!
Year after year we are so incredibly grateful to you for continuing to ensure Everyone Home DC’s September Challenge reaches historic success! For the fifth year in a row, you showed up for individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness in DC. We reached our ambitious (and record-setting) $80,000 goal, with more than 200 gifts made throughout the Challenge.
We believe that when everyone has access to a safe, affordable, and comfortable home, we can all thrive.
